It looks as though First Lady Melania Trump might be moving to Florida with or without her husband Donald Trump, according to new reports.
This comes after Page Six said that the current FLOTUS was spotted touring the prestigious Pine Crest School in Fort Lauderdale, which is about a 40 minute drive from the Trumps’ winter (but perhaps now permanent) residence, Mar-A-Lago. Here’s what you need to know.
Melania Trump Might Be Moving To Florida With Or Without Donald Trump
The site suggests Melania Trump is looking to relocate to Florida after she and President Donald Trump are forced to pack their bags and move out of the White House come January 20th. Sources say that Melania is eyeing Pine Crest for her son. The private school has a tuition price tag of $35,150 and requires both personal and business tax returns for enrollment. This might be a slight problem for the POTUS, seeing how he hasn’t released his tax returns in many years.
“They have looked all over Palm Beach County and neighboring Broward County for just the right place. There are several options, and they will decide soon,” the source said.
Meanwhile, it looks like Ivanka Trump and her husband Jared Kushner are about to get Florida driver’s licenses too as they are looking to relocate to Miami with their family, too. According to Vanity Fair, they are looking to move their family to Florida next year and are even looking at pricey and exclusive property in the Miami Beach area.
One source close to the situation says, “Republicans close to the Trumps told me the Florida land purchase signals that Ivanka has serious political ambitions. Florida is ground zero for the MAGA base, and members of Trumpworld I spoke with speculated that Ivanka intends to run for president herself, perhaps using a Florida governorship as a springboard.”
