If Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner are looking for their old circle of friends back in New York City to re-welcome them with open arms, they are in for a shock.
That’s because there’s a new report that suggests Ivanka and Jared have both become persona non grata in the Big Apple, as no one – both professionally and personally speaking – want anything to do with them. Here’s what you need to know.
According to the New York Times, one source close to the situation say that Ivanka and Trump haven’t even officially moved back to New York City from Washington, D.C. yet and it looks like everyone is already being inhospitable to them.
New York City Shuts The Front Door On Ivanka Trump And Jared Kushner
“In an odd way, they will even have a harder time than Trump himself” in New York, said Donny Deutsch, a brand management mogul in Manhattan and no-holds-barred critic of Mr. Trump on cable TV. “He’s despicable but larger than life. Those two are the hapless minions who went along.”
Unfortunately for Ivanka and Jared, no one is really going to miss them back in D.C., either. Some insiders say that they weren’t the nicest or most approachable parents at their children’s private school, too.
The tipster said, “Once in, Ms. Trump and Mr. Kushner tended to violate the unspoken rule of the Washington private-school world, that parents with heavy security details keep disruption to a minimum, four parents said. At schoolwide events, the family and its entourage often occupied the front two rows, standing to greet administration well-wishers, said one irritated parent. Three people, including two who were present, spoke about a birthday party Mr. Kushner decided to attend with his children. He then requested the hosts’ Wi-Fi password so he could work in the living room.”
