One of the most popular YouTubers and influencers, Tana Mongeau has told fans that she is 22 years old. Many of her fans don’t think this could be right. When we look at her videos, she looks much older than 22.
It also looks as if she has had a lot of work done to her face, which generally isn’t something most 22 year olds are concerned with. These aren’t the only hints though. Many other reporters have been curious about her real age and her financial situation. This has people digging deeper and what they have found is a bit surprising.

One reporter, Casey Johnston, works for Vice and she wanted to find out more about Tana. She tried to find out more information about her from records and files and what she found out, she posted on Twitter.
She wrote, “I’m in the process of trying to find out if Tana Mongeau got any PPP loans. I’ve learned lexisnexis lists her age as 30, not 22 as the rest of the internet says.

In fairness, I’ve now looked through all the yearbooks from her high school from 2004-2009 and she is not in any of them, so either she is younger than that, she missed picture day, or she didn’t go to that high school.”
When this story first came out, Tana was quick to laugh about the allegations. She did what anyone would do and pulled out her driver’s license on camera for everyone to see.
She showed cameras and said, “Imagine me taking my id out of my wallet right now and taking a picture of it and Hunter goes ‘what are you doing’ and I go ‘stopping a scandal before it starts.'” When she showed off her ID, we can see that her birthday is listed as June 24, 1998. This indeed, would make her 22 years old.
This story has her fans even more curious about some things. One fan asked if her ID had been photoshopped because it was vertical, which means she is not over 21.
Of course, fans have all kinds of questions for her and really don’t know when to quit asking. For now, Johnston seems to be happy about Tana showing her ID to fans and reporters, but she will continue to dig to see what else she can find out about the YouTuber.
