In Houston, Texas tonight, one family is grieving the loss of their loved one. Alexis Sharkey, 26 year old instagram influencer has been found dead. A government employee found her body on the side of the road in an industrial area around interstate 10 in Houston, Texas.
The same day she was reported missing by her Mother, Stacey Robinault. The sad thing is, due to COVID restrictions, Stacey and her Mom had not seen each other since last year, and they were planning on meeting up for Christmas, but now that meeting will never be.
Instagram Influencer Alexis Sharkey found dead
How she died is still under investigation, because according to the Houston police department she was found without any clothes, nor with any visible wounds on her body. Alexis’s platform on instagram was self-care, fashion, and travel, she had over 65,000 followers and had just gotten back from Tulum, Mexico after posting some beautiful pictures from just November 22nd, 6 days before she was found.
She was literally alive and living life to the fullest just before Thanksgiving, folks. From the looks of it, she had a very, very good life, but not all things are always revealed in pictures.
For instance, she was married, but was allegedly looking into divorce from her husband Tom Sharkey, something that we didn’t see mentioned on her instagram, then again instagram really isn’t like facebook and there isn’t really room for that type of post.
However, there was one post on November 10th she did that had a caption that could be rather telling, “When people are rude to you, they reveal who they are, not who you are. Don’t take it personally.” did Alexis have a beef with someone on November 10th that possibly escalated?
Mom Stacey says that she is not jumping to conclusions about who committed this atrocity, rather she is waiting to see what the investigators say. Our hearts go out to the family this holiday season, and we can only hope that for their sake, justice is served swiftly, and soon.
