For example, Renata Cantú Robles de Arizmendi (Susana González). Elisa visited her and was horrified to learn her sister is being kept sedated all the time. She sees zero reason for it and demanded answers from the doctor in charge. When she learned mom ordered this, she confronted Victoria Robles de Cantú (Leticia Calderón) as well. We’ll see how that one goes tonight.

Finally, there’s Teresa. She’s been seeing someone else behind José Luis Velasco Rodríguez’s (Hernán Mendoza) back. In fact, she’s ready to just abandon her old life.
The thing is, her other man isn’t. He thinks he’s to old to start over and his wife supports him. This hurts Teresa deeply. She’s not ready to play the part of the other woman forever, and she broke things off. She needs to start respecting herself and this is step one.

As for tonight, Imperio de mentiras spoilers indicate Leo gets a disappointing break tonight. He’s been determined to get to the truth. His investigation of the Cantú business and galleries was supposed to help that happen.
Unfortunately for him, he’ll learn the investigation of the company’s books has been stopped. Surely, he’ll see this as another reason not to trust José Luis or anyone else. Of course, the villanos will want to deal with Leo tonight once and for all.
Meanwhile, we’ll see Elisa take a stand. After her big confession about her part in laundering and other crimes, she’s turned her sights on other matters. Namely, Renata. She’ll ask Victoria to give Elisa full responsibility for Renata, legally.
We’ll be surprised if Victoria agrees, considering how controlling she is. However, we also expect Elisa will not stop until she wears Victoria down. And she has good reason to do so. It’s about time this character has stepped up and done anything worthwhile. So far, she’s been a bit of a weak protagonist.
