British Royal Family News says that Prince Charles feels super sad over the fact that he has not seen his grandson Archie Harrison in almost a year. Before Prince Harry and Meghan Markle pulled the plug on their working relationship with the royal family, they spent the majority of November and December of 2019 in Canada when they took a “break” from their royal duties to figure their next steps. Here’s what you need to know.
According to reports, both Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles love to spend time with their grandchildren, so it shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone that they are feeling quite sad over the fact that they are not getting to see little Archie Harrison grow up. In fact, it almost feels as though they barely know him, as they only got to spend a little time with them before the Sussexes decided to back their bags and move to North America.
British Royal Family News: Prince Charles Hasn’t Seen His Grandson Archie Harrison In Over A Year
According to the Daily Mail, one source close to the situation says, “The Prince of Wales enjoyed popping into Frogmore Cottage to see his youngest grandchild and is sad that he hasn’t seen him for so long. He has missed much of his development since he is now growing up in the USA.”
If that weren’t enough, other members of the royal family have also expressed their sadness over not getting to see Harry and Meghan’s one and only son. Even though the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are no longer considered working members of the monarchy, they are still part of the royal family family.
“Other members of the family are very sad at not seeing him. Everyone really misses Archie—they feel it’s particularly sad for the Queen and Prince Philip,” the source added. “Harry always said he looked forward to raising his family with William’s—which of course is not now happening.”
So far reports say that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will be spending the holiday season in Los Angeles with Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland.
