British Royal Family News: Meghan Markle’s Divorce Says A Lot About Who She Really Is
One source close to the ex-couple says that the marriage ended so suddenly that the Duchess of Sussex gave Trevor her diamond wedding and engagement rings back in the mail. Actress Abby Wathen, who starred in the movie Random Encounters alongside Meghan, says the move made her feel as though she was finally “free.”
She said, “We both went through a divorce, so we bonded over that too. I was destroyed and she was empowered. She took her power back. It wasn’t the right relationship for her, so she moved on.”
Meghan’s former best friend, Ninaki Priddy, says that she was completely taken aback by the move. She says that the breakup and divorce was so ugly that to this day Trevor can’t stand it whenever someone mentions Meghan’s name. This is prompting a lot of fans to wonder whether or not Prince Harry might be in trouble in the future, especially if their marriage doesn’t work out the way they had hoped.
Ninaki said: “It was such a surprise for Trevor that even at a distance of five years, he can barely contain his anger. The normally affable laid back New Yorker switching gear from his usual ‘hi bro, how’s it going?’ to a cold fury when her name comes into the conversation.”
