‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ (B&B) spoilers find that actor Tanner Novlan might be getting a lot of attention as the new, sexy and sensitive Dr. John Finnegan on the show but before he began his soap career, he was best known for being the ‘Liberty Biberty Guy’ thanks to his hilarious Liberty Mutual commercials.
And according to the handsome actor, he doesn’t mind it one bit. Here’s what he has to say. In a new interview with Soaps in Depth, Tanner says that he often gets recognized on the street for being the ‘Liberty Biberty’ guy and he doesn’t mind it at all.
He told the site, “And I love every minute of it. Because you do a project like ‘Bold and the Beautiful’ and you’re like wow, the impact it’s going to have and what to expect. But that was something that was out of the blue. When something like that happens, it doesn’t happen as often as it used to, so I’ve been enjoying every minute of it.”

Tanner also said that yes, there are people who even recognize him when he is out and about and running his errands.
It’s really fun to be in a Home Depot and have somebody look at you and go, ‘Hey! Liberty Biberty!’” Novlan added with a laugh. “It doesn’t happen very often. And now, if I ever forget my lines on set, they really know what to expect. It’s what they hired!”
With that said, we have a feeling that people will begin recognizing Tanner as Dr. Finn on B&B seeing how his romance with Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) is heating up. Of course, ‘Bold and the Beautiful’ fans will have to tune in to find out what will happen next!
