From Full House to Fuller House to the Fullest House of them all? Actress Candace Cameron, who is best known for her role as DJ Tanner on the hit sitcom Full House and the Netflix reboot Fuller House says that she wouldn’t mind continuing down the sitcom route to star in a new series in the future. Here’s what she has to say.
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight in a new interview, the blonde beauty says now that Fuller House has concluded, she would be open to starring in a new sitcom, should the opportunity present itself.
Candace Cameron Bure Wants To Star In A New Sitcom
“I love the series world, but particularly sitcom,” Candace told the site. “I absolutely love it. So, yes, yes, yes, I hope that I do another sitcom soon and we’re working on it, and it’s all about timing so not in the meantime, because I absolutely love all the Hallmark movies that I do. I mean, it really is incredible but it’s a very different schedule.”
If that weren’t enough, Candace also said that she wouldn’t mind directing in the future, too. “I ended up directing a few episodes of Fuller House, which was so incredibly fulfilling and directing a multi-cam is something I want to do more of,” she continues. “But of course with the pandemic, plans just changed, so right now that’s not as much of an opportunity just because there are very few shows that are back to work. But that’s like my wheel house. I love multi-cam and I love sitcom.”
For now though, fans can catch Candace in her latest project: the Hallmark movie, If I Only Had Christmas, which will premiere Sunday, Nov. 29th.
