CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers finds that nothing like closing the week off with a somewhat down episode after the bombshell that was dropped, but the show fans aren’t surprised.
In fact, we’ve come to expect it anymore. It makes sense in a way since the powers-that-be will want to stretch out the Newman storyline as long as possible.
We think there will still be some carryover into this episode as Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) and Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) will have a difference of opinion.
There area a couple of things that could be their focus of this, but we’re sure this will be about Faith Newman (Alyvia Alyn Lind) potentially running away.
For others not tied into the Newman drama, life will continue as usual, and in one case that may not be a good thing.
Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) and Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) are going to deal with a medical emergency that’ll really strike close to home.
This could be an intense experience for them, and we’re pretty sure it’s going to play into a current storyline.

CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For October 2: Revisiting Hilary’s death
This is purely speculation on our part, but ‘Young and the Restless’ think Elena and Nate are going to have to deal with a car accident victim.
Whether it’s by the clinic or just outside, they’ll have to deal with trauma that’ll remind them of the injuries Hilary Curtis (Mishael Morgan) sustained that caused her death.
Give their recent history with Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) discovering Hilary was her twin sister, this will tie in perfectly and amp up the emotional stress they’re both feeling.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For October 2: Difference of opinion
Going along the lines of speculating, we think Sharon and Rey are going to have different viewpoints on how to find Faith.
There is a part of us that wants to say this will be a continuation of their argument in dealing with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and how he’s coping since things seem settled with Faith, but that’s too easy.
Even Faith running away isn’t a fact, but given the texts she received from her “friends”, it’s a safe assumption to make and Sharon will want to run out to find her when she learns Faith isn’t at school.
Rey will be against that, since her surgery is right around the corner, and it’ll devolve into an argument that won’t do anyone any good.
