‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers are all set to switch gears back to the Newmans. It was a fun break while it lasted, but there’s mayhem to enjoy.

Not that we expect anything of the sort. At least, until things get rolling again.

To protect herself and their son, Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) is going to put Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) on the spot to make a decision.

It’s been building toward this for a while, and now it’s time for him to decide what’s more important — getting his revenge or being with his family.

We think this will be Chelsea’s attempt to wake him up and show him what he could lose to snap him out of this downward spiral.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For October 23: Chelsea Puts Adam on Notice; Rey and Sharon Plan for the Future

‘Young and the Restless’ think this is the moment where he can save himself and prove there’s a redemption for him, but as much as we like him, we think he’s going to elect to stay.

With that being said, we have to admit that there is a chance that he’ll say yes and leave with her, and that could be a good way to explore other options.

This would allow them to hit pause on the storyline and let things develop offscreen until he returns to Genoa City in a few weeks or months.

Who knows? He could some back as a better person for it.

It’d also give Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) the chance to focus on Newman Enterprises and begin the process of undoing his daughter’s actions.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For October 23: Planning for the future

With cancer in the rearview mirror, Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) are going to look to the future and continue planning their lives together.

This is going to be a fun moment for ‘Young and the Restless’ as it’ll be a much deserved celebration for them.

Sure, there are plenty of potential problems brewing, but this is their time to relax and enjoy being with each other without the wolf at the door, scratching away.

We think this will be a fun break in the action as we get to just see everyone relax and enjoy themselves.

These are fleeting moments on daytime television, and there’s no reason we shouldn’t soak it up with the characters involved.

Besides, it’s good to live vicariously through them sometimes.
