However, Amanda Corona Fernández (Barbie Casillas) also made a bad choice that forced Isabel to head to Mexico. She planned to find her daughter, plus Diego. She might as well go for broke. Just by following her daughter, she’s out of witness protection.
In a twist, she ended up spending a night at the same church Diego ended up hiding in. They were literally in adjoining rooms, but they kept just missing each other.
The last chance happened when Victoria Lamas (Dulce Maria) helped sneak Diego out. All Isabel could see was a hooded person, so that’s missed opportunity one. Expect at least a couple more before they find each other.

Speaking of Diego, Falsa identidad spoilers reveal he’s a lucky guy. First, he escaped Don Mateo Corona’s (Eduardo Yáñez) ranch. Then, he survived the two gunshot wounds and found people to help him. There was one more in store Wednesday night.
Victoria noticed a car following them, so she insisted that Diego stay hidden in the garbage for a little bit to make sure the bad guys leave. It didn’t take long. In more luck, the guys assumed they’d been played or there was nothing to see, so they decided not to waste more time there. Or following Diego’s helpers.
His mom, however, wasn’t so lucky. And we think it’s partly her fault. Now, Don Mateo probably would’ve done what he did anyway. However, we think the urgency increased when she told him she remembered everything about herself.
And him. So, what’d he do? Don Mateo got his friend with the magic drug to give Fernanda a dose. She is now Don Mateo’s puppet. And he couldn’t have been creepier about it. It’s not enough just to get info on where his other grandchild could be.
No, he wanted her to kiss him, dance with him, and smile at him. You know he’s going to take way more advantage of this, and we really hope his fall is a big one.

Also, we had reason to actually like Amanda Wednesday. Ramona Flores (Azela Robinson) made some comments about Isabel earned a living by dancing naked and letting men touch her. To Amanda’s credit, she didn’t believe a word and used her annoying attitude for good.
By that, we mean irritating Ramona. She tried to intimidate Amanda, but this kid actually kind of stood up to her. Just to annoy, she called Ramona “Grandma”. We love it. For once. Also for once, she had good instincts. Yes, some stuff like that went down at the old club, but Isabel never did that. So, again, points to Amanda for being smart enough to not believe her.

Finally, there’s Circe. We love this thing between her and Felipa Pérez (Gabriela Roel). Felipe is always reading her cards, and Circe is always blowing them off to some extent. This time, the cards talk about her falling for Claudio “El Buitre” Arismendi (Marco de la O).
She doesn’t buy it, but she still will listen to Felipa talk about the cards enough. However, the cards also indicated trouble. Apparently, Circe is heading for a final confrontation with Diego. There’s just one problem. This time, only one is going to come out alive.

As for tonight’s episode, Amanda will tell Don Mateo everything she went through because of Circe and Alex. This will give Don Mateo even more reason to hate her and he’ll ask Ramona to do it. This is going to put her in a tough position. She’ll have to choose whose side she’ll take and it’s not an easy one.
There’s a lot of history and a family connection with Circe. But Don Mateo is a dangerous man, and she knows it. If she goes against him, she needs to be sure Circe is set up and ready to deal with whatever Don Mateo will throw their way.
