British Royal Family News says that Meghan Markle doesn’t want you to take away her freedom, her liberty, and most important, her voice. The Duchess of Sussex recently opened up about how she did not enjoy being muted by the royal family while she and Prince Harry were still considered working members of the monarchy.
That’s because she felt as though she didn’t have a say or a voice when it came to important matters that she holds near and dear to her heart. Here’s what she has to say.

During the Fortune’s Most Powerful Next Gen summit, Meghan opened up about quite a few things, including why she’s no longer on social media, the problem with online addiction, and not being able to use your voice to speak up about issues that matter the most to you.
As many fans know, Meghan felt as though she was being held back by Queen Elizabeth, as it is against royal protocol to speak or share personal opinions without the Queen’s approval. According to Meghan, that was perhaps the most difficult part about being a member of the royal family for her.
“Your voice matters,” she said. “You realize it more when you are not able to exercise it. Regardless of my experience over the last few years compared to anyone’s experience, you can’t take for granted the ability you have as a woman to be able to be heard, and now with the platform that people have on social media to actually have that voice heard for a larger audience, I think it’s a huge responsibility.”
Now that Meghan has a voice, she certainly has been using it. We have a feeling that there is so much more that she wants to say, too. Watch this space.
