We have all seen Darcey get her heart broken by men on 90 Day Fiancé and she moved on from Tom Brooks knowing that she needed to change her mindset when it came to men. Now it looks like she made the right choice with Rusev.

Darcey couldn’t reveal that she was engaged until it aired on the show. Apparently, back in June, Georgi proposed to her. She told her fans, “I still feel newly engaged. I haven’t been able to really celebrate it yet with everybody.
I want to be able to shout it to the world. It was definitely a total surprise for me. Georgi and I have a very deep connection, and I feel like in that moment I was not expecting it at all.”

On Darcey and Stacey, we have seen a lot of ups and downs in their relationship, but they quickly moved in together and Georgi tried to think of creative ways to propose. It’s not so easy in close quarters, especially during a pandemic and quarantine. Georgi said, “It was really hard to find the ring, make calls, make the reservation for the boat, for dinner.”
These two met at the Super Bowl in Miami and they felt very connected to one another right away. Darcey has compared it to a very warm and comfortable feeling. Even though they have had bumps in their relationship, she is positive that this is the man she loves and wants to marry.
She said, “Everybody’s going to have their issues from time to time, but if we can communicate and talk through that, that’s what I’ve always wanted in a relationship.”
What happened when her daughters found out about her engagement? “They mean the most to me, and Georgi knows they come first and foremost in my life. He accepts them and me as a mom, and they get along very well. We already kind of feel like a little family unit.”
Darcey has talked about how she wants a beach wedding and she wants her family to be there. She wants it to be intimate and romantic. We are very happy for the love birds and wish them the very best on their journey to getting married.
