The WWE Universe were left enthralled with the action during last night’s Clash of Champions pay-per-view. It was an enjoyable night of wrestling from the very first match until the last. However, there were a number of upcoming events advertised throughout the show last night. The most newsworthy of those was the official dates for the upcoming draft.
It was revealed during the show that the Draft will once again be spread across two nights, with SmackDown revealing their new superstars on the 9th October, before Raw responds the following Monday. Both events will take place from the Amway Center, and it will be interesting to see the superstars that are drafted to different shows.
WWE News: Draft Dates Revealed
It has been no secret that the WWE have been gearing up for another Draft, as it will be the ideal opportunity to hit the refresh button on some of the biggest rivalries across the cards.
Meanwhile, it still hasn’t been revealed which superstars we could see swap brands over the coming weeks, and there also hasn’t been any word regarding whether NXT superstars will also be involved in the draft.
It would be safe to presume that the answer to the latter of those queries will be a yes, as that was certainly the case last year.
That means that we could soon see a number of the most exciting NXT superstars finally on the main brands, but it remains to be seen whether that will include call-ups for Adam Cole or any of the other massive names on the yellow brand.
WWE News: Champions Crossing Brands
It would certainly be seen as potentially difficult to see any of the current champions switching brands. All of the superstars carrying gold look set to be immersed in fresh rivalries during the episodes of Raw and SmackDown this week.
Drew McIntyre and Roman Reigns are certainly two of the superstars that shouldn’t be changing brands, as they have been the stars of their respective shows since picking up the titles.
Furthermore, both are set to have huge title matches at the upcoming Hell In A Cell PPV. That huge PPV was also revealed during the Clash of Champions event last night, and we could see the first couple of matches for that event announced during Raw tonight.
