Univision Médicos, línea de vida spoilers reveal Gonzalo Olmedo (José Elías Moreno) got some bad news at the medical conference he and a lot of the team went to. This led to a reunion that may or may not go well.

Plus, we saw René Castillo (Rodrigo Murray) pull one of his most disgusting moves yet to get control of the Institute, while another character is dealing with some major guilt and leaning on Regina Villaseñor (Livia Brito). Let’s take a look at some big moments of the week.

Univision Médicos, Línea De Vida Spoilers: Bad news

First, while at a conference with some of the doctors, Gonzalo learned bad news about his ex-wife, Aurora (Frances Ondiviela). She apparently had some concerning test results and the doctor Gonzalo spoke too didn’t see her back. He assumed Gonzalo knew. The thing is, Gonzalo has no contact with his ex and son, Felipe Olmedo (Joshua Gutiérrez).

Felipe hates him and thinks his dad working all the time ruined everything. Gonzalo still loves his son and cares for Aurora, so he reached out to Felipe. He all but begged Felipe to give him the information about his mother’s case so Gonzalo can look it over.

Gonzalo believes the Institute can help save her. Médicos, línea de vida spoilers reveal this devolved into a fight over the past and Felipe never did hand over the information. We’ll have to wait and see if he and Aurora end up deciding to accept Gonzalo’s help.

We actually feel really bad for Gonzalo in this, because he seems like a really nice guy. Maybe too nice. He reminds us of the type of person who’ll give until it kills them, whether the person he’s helping appreciates it or not. And even if they are insulting him the whole time.

Univision Médicos, Línea De Vida Spoilers: Too far

Elsewhere, René has been a busy boy in Gonzalo’s absence. First, he ticked Gonzalo off by releasing a bunch of patients Gonzalo had wanted to stay under observation. René figured if they were stable, they can go and wait out anything else at home.

These cost-cutting measures were one part of a plan to get Gonzalo fired so he can take over. Plus, he tattled about the Quinceañera the doctors held for a girl awaiting a transplant, and he got Marco Zavala (Mauricio Henao) to align with him and talk to a family connection on the board about the problems he sees there. Here’s where he really crossed the line, though.

Médicos, línea de vida spoilers indicate René made sure some papers got lost. Very important ones. As a result, the hospital has now air conditioning and everyone is basically dying from the heat. The patients, obviously, are being really hard hit.

Not only that, René and Mireya Navarro (Mireya Navarro) seemed to purposefully be making sure no doctor came to see a new patient, Victor. He’s the victim of a car accident and his wife and son are also there. This guy is not only suffering from heat, but from extreme pain and getting no attention.

Plus, he’s kind of stirring people up to be upset. Victor’s at the point he wants to file a suit against the Institute. We can’t at the idea this guy is that twisted in his quest for power. Even Mireya is wondering if he’s taking this bit too far. She’s miserable in the heat herself.

Univision Médicos, Línea De Vida Spoilers: Guilty

Finally, there’s Cecilia (Lía Ferré). She’s Arturo Molina’s (Rodolfo Salas) girlfriend who ended up in the emergency room a while back. Well, ex-girlfriend. Her issues ended up being too much and, despite the help he offered, she wasn’t taking any.

So, he ended up having no choice but to pull away and he’s also into Regina. After a big scene at the hospital, Cecilia went home and killed herself. Arturo, who found her body, is a wreck and feeling like this is all his fault. By Thursday, he’d reached out to Regina for a shoulder to cry on. We’ll see if anything ends up happening there.
