CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers the past can be a dangerous thing when it’s brought into the present, but it’s something the show expected when a couple of these storylines started.
It was only a matter of time until the fans got their wish and Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) would be proven to be the twin sister of Hilary Curtis (Mishael Morgan again).
Still looking for answers, Amanda will ask Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) for his help in digging into her past to learn more about her family and the occasional landmine that has to be there for story purposes.
Some things are just needed in these types of stories, right?
While Amanda searches for her past, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) are looking to build their future with their past swept aside.
Sounds fair and smart, but what are the chances history will repeat in ways they don’t expect?
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For September 22: Some digging
Amanda knows she needs help and the only resource she has left that can find the answers she needs is Billy.
‘Young and the Restless’ expect Billy to be willing, but a little gun shy after he and Amanda’s last conversation.
This time, we think he’ll be the one to draw the line about their relationship while still being there for her if she needs him.
This is only right given how much the two of them have shared with each other.
They’re true friends that border on something more but hold back for the benefit of the other.
Besides, if anyone can help her find her past, it’s Billy.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For September 22: What the future holds
When Phyllis and Nick got back together again, for the millionth time, everyone from their friends and family to fans have been waiting for the usual explosion to happen.
They bring the best and worst out of each other, but this time may be different for a couple of reasons.
For one, they’re aware of their past and they’re actually talking it out and planning for the next step, whatever that’ll be.
For another, they’ve broken down barriers they hadn’t before and opened up with each other. It’s an important and huge step, so that’s a definite plus for them.
And then there’s their daughter remarrying her ex. That’ll bring them together harder and faster than anything else in the world, and that repeat of history might be something they really don’t want to relive.
