CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers life in Genoa City is never boring, but it helps the show to get our juices flowing, and it leads to plenty of spoilery goodness we get to play with.
Things are going to get interesting as some personal powerplays will be in store as Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) asserts her independence, which doesn’t bode well for Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson).
This is going to be a pretty cool personal growth story to follow, and meanwhile we’re going to get some other fun goodies as well.
While there’s some growth here, there’s going to be some nipping in the bud when Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) warns Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan).
A warning sounds so ominous, but is it?
Let’s take a look, shall we?
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For September 1: The warning
Chelsea has been spending some time with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) lately as they’ve worked on how they can best help Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).
This makes it easy to expect Nikki to warn her off of contact, especially as Victor is trying to mend fences with his daughter, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle).
But ‘Young and the Restless’ think it’s something else, something more mother like that Nikki worrying just about Victoria.
We’re thinking Nikki may finally understand that she’s not going to deter Victor from looking after all of his children, so she’ll warn Chelsea not to push Adam too hard.
Of course, that would include trying to put the genie back in the bottle and keep Adam to herself. Nikki will understand that this is probably the best and maybe only chance for Adam to redeem himself.
Or at least, for him and Victor to find peace with each other.
Nikki may think Chelsea pushing Adam could upset that, and she wouldn’t be wrong.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For September 1: Me time
Lola is dealing with having someone that cares for her, but she doesn’t care for them back. At least, not in the way she feels she should.
Theo is also changing, and a lot of that has to do with Lola’s influence. He may not have made the transition without her to be a sounding board, and he’s helped her move forward as well.
But now she knows they went too far and doesn’t want someone in her life to help support her. She wants to stand on her own two feet, and she’s going to explain and enforce that as best she can.
