CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that Summer Newman (Hunter King) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) spoke with Summer’s parents today about moving in. It didn’t go exactly how they wanted it to, but they did win over Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) pretty easily. Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) was the one that needed convincing, though I think he caved in too easily.
Nick stood his ground against the two of them moving in until Kyle’s divorce was finalized. Seems like a pretty obvious thing to me, but to Kyle and Summer, it was “just paperwork”. I’m sure it is a lot paperwork, but it’s definitely something that should be taken care of first. The next thing was the house that Nick is currently building. It was originally intended for Kyle and Summer the first time around, though, after some very light interrogation from his daughter, Nick immediately folded and said he would sell them the house.

CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) Shouldn’t Have Caved To His Daughter – Summer Newman (Hunter King) Will Get The House?
Moving in together is one thing, immediately buying a house together, in Genoa City, in the drama capital of the world is another. What happens if we have another Kyle and Summer episode of the two breaking up, who gets stuck with the house and mortgage? If it’s Summer will dad bail her out?
Perhaps I’m being too critical of the “kids”, but Nick is still Summer’s father and can say no once in a while. He might like it…
