There is a great excitement around the WWE Universe at SummerSlam grows closer. It will be one of the most unique events in WWE history this weekend, as the company makes its new home at the Amway Center in Florida.

Furthermore, fans will get an extended look at how the Thunderdome will work for one of the biggest shows of the year. There is a stacked card of matches, with some of the biggest names in the industry having huge matches.

Drew McIntyre will defend his WWE Championship against Randy Orton in the main event of the show, while Asuka will challenge both Bayley and Sasha Banks for the SmackDown and Raw Women’s Championships in separate bouts. Meanwhile, there will be an in-ring debut for Dominik Mysterio as he takes on Seth Rollins.

WWE SummerSlam: Fiend Wins Title After Bliss Involvement

The rivalry between The Fiend and Braun Strowman has taken an interesting turn over recent weeks, as Alexa Bliss has gotten involved. Last week’s SmackDown saw Bliss man-handled by Strowman, before The Fiend come out to try and save the Goddess.

It almost seems as though Bliss’ involvement in this match is a formality, and it would appear as though she will be helping The Fiend win the title. Fiend has a strange way of turning characters after matches against them, and that means that Strowman’s heelish antics over the last couple of weeks aren’t a mistake. It has certainly added intrigue to the rivalry.

WWE SummerSlam: Orton Wins WWE Championship

Drew McIntyre has done a brilliant job as WWE Champion since claiming the title after beating Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania. However, all indications point to his reign coming to an end this weekend, with Randy Orton winning the title.

There is likely to be a screwy finish to take the title off McIntyre, and that could happen as Ric Flair comes back to help the Viper. It would be a stunning turn of events as Flair was punted by Orton a few weeks ago, but that could have all been part of his plan.

WWE SummerSlam: Asuka Will Win One Match

Bayley and Sasha Banks have carried the WWE throughout much of 2020, and they have all the gold in the women’s division to show for that. However, one of them will be losing their title at SummerSlam this weekend.

It would appear that the most likely one to lose will be Sasha Banks, before Banks then sets her sights on winning the SmackDown Women’s Championship.
