TLC ‘My Pregnant Husband’ spoilers finds that the big day finally came, and each families birthing story was interesting. Ari ended up being 10 days past his due date. He also said that he wanted a drug free delivery and wanted to feel what it was like, giving birth to his child.
Okay, just from a woman’s standpoint, a woman who’s actually terrified of ever having to give birth – YIKE! And, my hat’s off to Ari, doing that drug free with just a t-shirt to pull on for pain? I must say, I ache just from watching those scenes. When Ari groaned, I felt that deep in my soul. OUCH!
He described in detail what it was like and what the head felt like coming out and how terrified he was because the doctor initially said that if they didn’t get the baby out within three pushes, they were going to have to go do emergency surgery and Ari did not want a c-section, he said to the doctor, “That’s okay I’ll keep pushing.” fortunately the stars aligned in everyone’s favor and the child was delivered naturally with no problems.
TLC ‘My Pregnant Husband’ Spoilers: Raising babies while Trans
As for raising the child, they have chosen not to force a gender identity on the child until the child says that they are ready. Nor did they reveal the child’s name to the TLC production crew, they thought of that as private information and I guess until the kid’s ready to talk and introduce themselves, that’s a valid viewpoint. It’s interesting that they would take the ‘no gender role’ route though, because Miles and Precious have chosen to raise their baby as their birth-ordered gender.
Miles and Precious ended up having a baby girl, they didn’t reveal the name of their little one, but Precious did definitely say that she was Mama’s Princess. However, that’s not going to be a gender role that she is held to.
Precious expressly says that if the child grows up and chooses to be a different gender than what they were assigned at birth, then she is down for that too, she just wants to love and support this little one no matter what, and that is a sentiment I think we can all stand behind. I wonder if TLC would give them their own show? I’d be intrigued. Stay tuned!
