British Royal Family News suggests that Meghan Markle’s father, Thomas Markle Sr., is none too pleased over the fact that a new tell-all book about their lives is coming out in the midst of a pandemic.
Finding Freedom: Harry, Meghan and the Making of a Modern Royal Family, is spilling all the tea about the couple’s life behind the scenes and according to some royal critics, unfortunately making more of a rift between the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and the rest of the royal family back in London. British Royal Family News: Thomas Markle Sr. Slams Meghan Markle For Petty Whining
In a new interview with the UK’s The Sun, the former lighting director says that the timing of the book is all sorts of wrong, seeing how the world is still in the midst of the global pandemic that has been the coronavirus.
Not only have hundreds of thousands of people have died all around the world, but many people have also suffered from the economic downturn that has been caused by the virus.
He told the site, “This is the worst time in the world for them to be whining and complaining about anything — because people everywhere are suffering due to the coronavirus pandemic. I love my daughter but I really don’t appreciate what she’s become right now.”
The book also says that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle had rejected the idea of getting help to protect Thomas during the earlier years of their relationship, when coverage began to grow about them. Thomas said, “The fact the royals advised them to get me help and they refused to do it is incredible news.”
So far neither Prince Harry nor Meghan Markle have not made any comments about the book, Finding Freedom, but reports say that they did not contribute, nor were they interviewed for it at all. Instead, the authors supposedly interviewed hundreds of sources that were or are still close to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
