First of all, we love Gabi right now. Now that she knows Jake Lambert and Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) are a DNA match, she had to share this news in a special way. ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers reveal she entered the living area with a tray much like the setup that Chad brought her to gloat over what he thought was her inevitable jail term. And Gabi didn’t miss the chance to point out that’s exactly why she’s bringing something to him this way. That was, of course, the DNA results. Chad didn’t take it well.
He was completely floored by the results, and willing to fight. He doesn’t like that Gabi is a possible threat to his leadership. This is where things got a little weird for us.

Now, we understand that family can be a complicated thing. Sometimes, we stay in abusive situations because of that blood bond. We put up with things we’d never tolerate a stranger doing. However, most of us are not the DiMeras. ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers reveal Chad is all worried about the family legacy. And this is where we can’t. One brother doesn’t even want to be involved in the running of the company anymore. Kristen was willing to sell off her stock for Chad to take command, and basically gave up everything to stay on the run and out of jail. While they clearly had love for their father, they also value their other relationships more.
Recently, Chad was put under Stefano Dimera’s (Stephen Nichols) control and nearly killed a couple people. Not to mention the danger Abigail Deveraux (Kate Mansi) was in while trying to get him out of that control.

Besides the things done (and the obvious tensions it caused before in his marriage), we wonder about this “legacy”. What? A company built by a man who has basically terrorized most of the town? Whose properties are responsible for the recent scare Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) had? Whose founder helped cover up the attack on his mother-in-law that landed her in a coma for a year? There is so much destruction associate with this company, we can’t imagine why he cares so much. And it might get worse.

See, ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers indicate Abigail has been out of commission lately. This is because she’s been drugged and it totally messed up her brain chemistry. How will Chad feel when he realizes that his father’s most trusted man was likely involved? And that they used that same substance (a DiMera property) to frame someone? We really hope his outlook would change. Because if that doesn’t make him want to turn his back for good? Maybe Abigail should walk away.
