Ellen DeGeneres’ summer of controversy seems to be getting worse by the day. The daytime television talk show host, who was once known as the ‘Queen of Nice,’ has been exposed in more ways than one.
That’s because multiple sources that have worked with the television personality have come forward to reveal that Ellen is anything but nice and instead, is known for treating her behind-the-scenes crew rather poorly. Here’s what you need to know.

Amid many reports indicating that Ellen could easily be called television’s new ‘ice queen’ for the way that she’s ignored people or simply treated them as though they are not worthy of her time, Ellen’s reputation has taken quite a hit – both online and offline.
A simply Google search for Ellen DeGeneres, ‘American comedian,’ shows the following: The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Ellen DeGeneres Mean, Ellen DeGeneres House, Ellen DeGeneres Age, and so on. Clearly, a lot of people are interested in looking up all of the reports and accusations that suggest Ellen has acting like a cold-hearted celebrity rather than a friendly talk show host to those who have worked closely with her in the past.
Meanwhile, there’s another report that says the crew of her daytime television show are all reveling over the fact that Ellen is getting so much bad press for the way she’s been treating others poorly for years now.
“They’ve been calling and texting each other about the story,” the source revealed. “They’re loving that the truth — which has been an open secret for years in the industry — is finally receiving more interest.”
If that weren’t enough, a new report also says that her home in Montecito estate was burglarized earlier this month. Even though Ellen is yet to make a comment about the matter herself, the local police department is telling other residents in the neighborhood to avoid posting about their vacations and to perhaps leave the lights and television on if they are going out.
