CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers finds that YR producers took fans back to Christmas of 2016. The Christmas was definitely not drama-free, as Gloria Abbott (Judith Chapman) announced that she wanted her son, Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) to break up with Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson). Not very festive of her). Meanwhile, Faith Newman (Alyvia Alyn Lund) also gets feisty.
Did Santa say Gloria was a narcissit or did I dream that? Gloria literally had herself delivered to Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) and Lauren Fenmore’s (Tracey Bregman) house in a box. Wow!!!! What a brilliant Christmas gift, Gloria.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Gloria Backfires
Anyways, Gloria see’s Chloe, who was recently released from the psychiatric ward, and suddenly Gloria (who isn’t overly stable herself) doesn’t have any interest in seeing Chloe’s relationship with Kevin go to term.
So, as you can assume, WWIII will start between the two women. Perfect timing for the holidays! Let’s not forget that Gloria used the ripe tool of a face cream to commit murder.
Meanwhile, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) is still mad at Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) for hiding Christian from hi for over a year. Faith is upset that her parents are fighting so she figures she will go spend time with her family.
Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and his wife, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) are mad that Faith is in the middle of this. Because, obviously, Victor and Nikki have always had an extremely stable and healthy relationship.
Now the couple is fighting over who gets Faith for the holidays, but she makes the final call to her parents. She’s moving to the ranch. Boo hoo, guys. Should have handled your issues like adults.
What did you think of this Christmas episode? For something that is supposed to be so festive, it definitely missed the mark on both holly and jolly.
