TLC ‘sMothered’ spoilers finds that we met Laurie and Sarah, along with Sarah’s boyfriend, Miguel. Laurie and Sarah’s relationship is very close and it seems odd too. Laurie loves to go on dates with her daughter and Miguel and now she is starting to really pressure him into proposing to Sarah. Laurie is worried that she will die before the two of them get married and this could be one of the main reasons that she is pressuring him. Sarah doesn’t seem to be too worried about since she and Miguel already live together. Fans of the show have been slamming Laurie for the pressure that she is putting on him though.

The relationship between Laurie and Sarah doesn’t seem to be as odd as the ones of the other mother-daughter pairs on the show, but at the same time, Sarah is very close to her mother. Laurie will actually call Sarah at night and talk to her until she falls asleep! They always cuddle on the couch when they hang out and Laurie smells Sarah’s baby teeth! EWW! They are incredibly close now because of Laurie’s health condition, but viewers are giving Laurie a little backlash on social media.

One viewer wrote, ” B***h please, my mom has been on both types of dialysis for over 15 years now, she’s fine. It’s not a g*****n death sentence. This is a s****y, selfish, manipulative reason to pressure someone into marrying your daughter if they’re not ready.” Another wrote, ““Sarah wants to be married soooo bad to this guy….but he’s standing his grounds….he’s not letting them punk him around. She should just leave if she’s that miserable. She doesn’t look happy.” One chimed in, “Wow is she guilting Miguel into having him propose to Sarah? WTF, Miguel you do what’s right for you.Omg Laurie using the kidney/dialysis card to get Miguel to propose to Sarah. How mortifying.”
