    Love Island news finds that fans were left stunned over the weekend as it was revealed that Marcel Somerville had been rushed into hospital. Fans took to social media to post messages of support for the reality star, with Marcel responding to the comments in a video later over the weekend.

    In the video, Marcel thanked all his followers for their messages of support during the difficult period. He revealed in the short video that he was left fearing for his life, and claimed that the experience was ‘terrifying’. The video was recorded from a hospital bed, with the 31-year-old admitting that the messages of support were ‘appreciated’.

    Love Island News: Marcel Rushed Into Hospital

    The news came as a huge shock for reality fans. Marcel admitted in the video on his social media channel that he really needed the messages of support from the fans right now. Also in the video, he revealed that he was rushed into the hospital on Saturday and admitted that it was one of the worst days of his life.

    Along with the video, Marcel also posted a picture onto his social channels. The picture showed the Love Island star hooked up to IV lines and wires as the staff at the hospital look to nurse him back to full strength following the shock diagnosis.

    Love Island News: Sources Reveal Marcel Has Been Unwell

    Following the revelation that the former Love Island contestant had been rushed into hospital, a source revealed just how scary the turn of events was. The insider revealed that he hadn’t been feeling well for a number of days, and was incredibly sick throughout the week. The insider claimed that they feared something was seriously wrong as he had no energy throughout the week.

    It was also revealed that after feeling sick he passed out, and that’s when he was rushed into hospital. Marcel was tested for COVID-19, but he is now waiting for the results to see whether he had contracted the virus at some point. Fans have been quick to send their well wishes to Marcel, as he has already been in the hospital for two days.
