CBS ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ (B&B) spoilers finds that fans have reacted to the news that the cast and crew are filming new episodes again! The show was forced to halt production back in mid-March because of the coronavirus pandemic. Here’s what you need to know.
Of course, it didn’t take very long for B&B fans to react to the news. Some have taken to their social media accounts to comment on the matter with, “B&B should have less problems with the restrictions than the other soaps because Bell rarely uses any more than 5 or 6 characters a month before COVID-19. So not much has to change,” along with, “Anyone who watches Bold knows a conversation between two characters can last a whole week of shows anyway. The only difference will be the other actors don’t have to wait around on the set all day to deliver one or two lines.”

Meanwhile, The Bold and the Beautiful writer Nellie Andreeva had this to share, “The show’s filming will follow COVID-19 safety protocols set by LA County, the City of Los Angeles and Television City’s owner Hackman Capital Partners, and its resumption became possible after the producers reached agreements with the Hollywood guilds. The cast and the crew were tested for the coronavirus today, with regular testing a key part of the new protocol. Everyone will work shorter days with staggered call times and smaller amount of cast on set at one time. To accommodate that, some of the scripts that had been already in the can were reworked.” Another fan added, “This is the last soap that should be in-production right now. However, they also have the smallest cast of actors, so it is likely easiest for them to begin again. But, again, IT IS TOO SOON!”
With that said, the cast and crew will have to wear their masks at all times with the lone exception being when they film screens. An on-set Covid-19 coordinator will be on set at all times.
