Okay remember a few months ago when Tana Marie Mongeau made that video where she said that she was so grateful for her platform and how she wanted to be more of an example and a role model to her young followers now that she knew what a great reach that her platform had? I think it was in her video explaining what all went down with Jake Paul and/or everything that went down with the whole MTV series and everything, I’m not sure, I do know that there have been some ‘explanation’ videos put out by Tana that definitely had mixed reviews. Either way, I think you can safely say that by laughing at this particular comment on instagram, she probably just negated her entire speech by laughing hysterically at a certain comment she received.
Recently Tana posted this whole thing on instagram about how she went to the grocery store in a mask and a bikini, obviously trying to say that she was being ‘safe’ while still being ‘sexy’, whatever that means. There was a series of photos on this one post on instagram where she had posted herself half-clothed in the parking lot of whole foods. From the way it looked she had on jogging pants and a bikini top with the rest of her bikini underneath. The comment that she laughed so hysterically at simply said, “I guess n****s be gettin’ naked at he grocery store now.” which prompted a hearty, all caps “HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA” from Tana.
Youtuber Tana Mongeau finds that it’s not a good look for her
Okay, granted, at least she didn’t caption the photo like that, but this is not a good look for her and this is not the first time that Tana has had a problem with using that word on her social media. Back when she was a much younger youtuber and new to the platform, she got in a lot of trouble for using the word on twitter as well. She has come out in the past as saying that she learned from the experience and wouldn’t be using it again, but even though she didn’t use the term and just laughed at it… it’s still implies that she was complicit in using the term. It’s one thing to laugh at a comment in private, but it’s an entirely other thing to actually acknowledge it aside from trying to call the commenter down.
If Tana is trying to be more of an example to her younger fans, then I would suggest maybe ignoring or deleting these comments from now on. Coming from someone like her, it’s not a good look at all. I wonder how feels about that? Would it even matter? I mean it’s not like his feelings mattered when she didn’t pick him up from the rhinoplasty he was having so… oh well. Will Tana learn from her mistakes? Stay tuned!!!
