He has been chasing Lana for seven years and made multiple trips to Ukraine to see her. Once again, she has stood him up. He even went so far as to go to her town and her address where he found an older man, not Lana. But somehow, he just wants to keep trying to meet her. He still believes that she is real.

You would think that if you went to meet someone one time and they stood you up, that would be the end of it. Not for David. Lana has now stood him up four times! He flew all the way to Ukraine to meet her and she has never showed her face. He believes that she really does exist and even though he headed home, he knows that she will contact him again.

What excuse will she have this time? David did get very upset when Lana was not the person who answered the door. “I really thought she was the one. This experience has been painful.” He says this, but he still wants to reach out and see if she is all right.He wants to hear her point of view about everything. He wants some closure on this whole thing so he can just move on.
In the midst of all of his turmoil, he decides that he will hire a private investigator in order to make sure that she is being truthful with who she is. He will not believe his friends who are telling him that she is a fake and he wants the PI to find out who she is and why she is so shy with him in person. Yes, he thinks she’s just shy! He still wants to meet her and even has mentioned moving on in their relationship! What?! Do you think David is crazy for thinking that this woman is real? Clearly, if she has stood you up many times, she doesn’t care to meet you. It’s not because she’s shy, buddy! Keep up with David’s ongoing saga on TLC’s 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days.
