Coronation Street spoilers have been revealed for Friday’s night visit to Weatherfield, and it promises to be a dramatic episode. There will still be focus on the story line centring around Geoff Metcalfe and Yasmeen Nazir, while David Platt will also be faced with difficulty in keeping his secret revealed from Craig Tinker.
Friday will also see the start of a new hard-hitting storyline that focuses on racist abuse suffered by Ed Bailey and his son. The hard-hitting racism storyline is likely to be one of the biggest in the soap this year, as Ed and his son will be faced with approaching the new manager of the Bistro about the remarks that he has made.
Coronation Street Spoilers: David Faced With Questioning From Craig
David Platt has been flirting with danger over the last couple of months in Weatherfield as he believes that it is the only way that he is able to get over the heartbreak of losing Shona. However, this past week, he purposely wound up a group of drug dealers by stamping on their car and then encouraging them to chase him.
Fortunately, David ran past Craig Tinker who was in the area, and as soon as the drug dealers saw him they stopped chasing. Craig tried to get answers off David regarding why he was in that area, but David just insisted he was running. Craig will try and catch David out this evening by talking to him and then inviting him on a run with him.

Craig is certain that David is hiding something and will be determined to get to the bottom of what is happening. However, David will give nothing away and insist that everything is fine and that he is just overreacting. But, Craig isn’t likely to give up easily.
Also tonight, viewers will learn what the diagnosis is from the tests that have been carried out on Oliver Battersby. Oliver was taken into hospital after continuously having seizures. The news isn’t going to be good news, as it will be revealed that he will have an illness that can’t be cured. But, will Leanne and Steve McDonald be able to stay strong in unison?
