First off, let’s talk about Cengiz’s plan. He figured that since Selim Arısoy (Berk Atan) is determined to have Cennet Yılmaz (Almila Ada), it’s better to make some peace. He figured the more she pushes against their relationship, the worse off everyone will be. And he was right.
Surprisingly, Cennet spoilers indicate Nilgün handled herself pretty well. Unfortunately, things rarely go the way a character plans in a soap or novela. Especially when a damaging secret is involved.

So, what went wrong? Cennet stepped away a minute and ended up breaking the chain on her necklace. That caused her to lose the ring attached, and led her on a search through the house.
Cennet spoilers indicate she ended up coming across the room that holds Selim’s old music box/globe. Obviously, Cennet recognized it as soon as she saw the thing. Even more damaging, she decided to look around a bit more and found a childhood photo of Selim. The shock of seeing her old friend’s face in someone else’s house completely blew Cennet’s mind. And we loved how the actress played the whole thing out. Even if we do question the leadup to the discovery. We doubt the ring would’ve gone that far, or that she should have checked that room to try to find it. But, what can you do? Either way, she both lucked out and got unlucky at the same time.

On the luck side, she was spared any confrontation at the house with Nilgün. Just as things would have gotten heated over Cennet’s discovery, Selim got the call Melisa Soyer (Zehra Yılmaz) tried to kill herself. This is where she gets unlucky.

Cennet spoilers reveal Selim obviously rushed to the hospital. Even if he doesn’t love Melisa, he still considers her a friend. Cengiz ended up going with him, which leaves Cennet and Nilgün alone. Okay, this is wrong on so many levels. Cengiz should not trust Nilgün to behave, even if he is in a bit of a emergency situation. Plus, it gave more time for Cennet to possibly notice things. Like the shoes Nilgün is wearing. We see Nilgün changing her mind on behaving herself. She knows Cennet’s seen too much, and we’re sure she won’t let this go. And knowing Cennet, she’ll probably push for answers to what she saw. While we don’t think she’ll say anything while alone with Nilgün, we do think she’ll bring it up. And that will put her right back in Nilgün’s crosshairs.
