CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that before COVID-19 shut down production, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) had seemingly been on the right track. He had a new job that kept him focused and that he enjoyed. Plus, he was working side by side with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) who keeps him heading in the right direction. How long will this last though?
Before he took the new job, Billy was skidding for the last few months. Drinking, starting bar fights, and buying sports cars that he would wreck. He was seeking an adrenaline rush and couldn’t seem to get himself together. For a moment, it looked like he had won Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) over, however, that was short-lived. Is this new job really going to keep him going or when will he feel the need to bust out again?
CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Is Billy Really On The Right Track? – Will He Relapse Again?
It only feels like a matter of time until something happens and Billy is right back where he began. We’ve seen it time and time again. Though this does seem a bit different and he has more to focus on, we can’t help but wait for the moment that he destroys everything. Whether it be Lily, the new division of Chancellor, or himself, it feels like there’s a ticking time-bomb and we’re just waiting for it to explode.
Billy can be very touchy, and it may only take one comment from Lily to push him over the edge. We’ve seen him flirt with that line already, but now with the drama surrounding Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), might Billy do something stupid to try to get back at Victor Newman (Eric Braeden)?
