CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers finds that producers have gifted fans with several reruns amid this global pandemic and filming hiatus, there has been no shortage of Halloween-themed episodes. In fact, we’ve seen several. On Monday, May 25, producers offered yet another Halloween-type episode as they flashed back to October 7, 1991 with a costume ball feature some of our favourite Genoa City veterans.
Ahh, does anyone imagine David Kimble (Michael Corbett). You know, the guy that started out as a secretary in Genoa City but somehow found his way down a dark, dark hole as an evil murderer? Well, he first was married to Nina Webster (Tricia Cast) before he wifed up her mom, Flo Fulton (Katrina Bowden). It looks like Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) isn’t the only one that marries their ex’s parents! Anyways, after faking his own death, he had to get surgery to disguise himself, which resulted in the surgeon writing “KILLER” permanently on his forehead.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Another Halloween Episode
David took this literally and resulted in attending the costume ball and tried to kill several attendees before jumping down a trash compactor and actually being killed. Farewell, Mr. Kimble. Unfortunately, that’s not all the drama in Genoa City on October 7, 1991. Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) is pregnant, but she’s scared that she is about to have a miscarriage, and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) is sleeping next to Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) as Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) comes looking for Victoria Newman (Heather Tom).
Rude awakening for old Victor. I think after quarantine and this global pandemic, we can all agree that Halloween and October don’t go by without a hitch in Genoa City. These episodes always have several interesting storylines to follow. But, did you ever expect anything less from the great Y&R? Stay tuned for more Y&R classics in the next few days!
