Telemundo Operación Pacífico spoilers indicate the first season is in the books. We’re not sure how we feel about that right now. Although, we are more confident in a continuation of the show than previously. We’ll tell you why in a little bit. First, let’s take a look at the Gran Final of season one.
Telemundo Operación Pacífico Spoilers: The “meh”
Let’s start off with a little bit of bad. First of all, we should be fair here. It’s likely the small number of episodes is more about current events than anything. If this was, in fact, intended to be a short season and they had something else ready to go later, we are a little underwhelmed in some respects.
Operación Pacífico spoilers indicate there was no real resolution to anything. Literally no open plot points were tied up, something that should happen in a season finale. Sure, you leave something open-ended if you intend to come back, but everything? It leaves one feeling a little cheated. Especially given the fact they put a couple other big things out there to close it off. It’d be nice to have seen Mariana Ortega (Johanna Fadul) rescued, or have someone actually get caught and stay that way. However, there were some interesting twists that we think will lead to some great moments later.
Telemundo Operación Pacífico Spoilers: The good
That said, let’s look at the great aspects of the episode. First of all, there was the situation between Paula Gaitán (Shany Nadan) and Valeria Casas (María Cecilia Sánchez). This pair has had a few rough spots in their relationship, especially when Valeria was kidnapped by the bad guys because of her association with a cop. It led her to nearly castrate her kidnapper in the guise of saving him. Paula had to interrupt the procedure. But this is one thing that had a sad ending.
After everything that happened, Paula and Valeria got back on track in the Gran Final. They even had a little private time in one of the hospital rooms. However, an interruption led to tragedy. A nurse walked in to find a seemingly empty room with random clothes thrown on the floor. She took them, leaving Paula’s clothes behind. To get an extra set, Valeria donned Paula’s outfit and got mistakenly taken out by an assassin who’d been following her. We’re sure this will be a big story for Paula in the future.

Then, there’s the cliffhanger ending. This will definitely be a huge blow to Amalia Ortega (Majida Issa), who looks at ___ as a father figure. Following an interview about some recent events, Álvaro López (Ernesto Benjumea) left the station and was attacked by the same assassin who got Valeria. He’s currently on the ground in bad shape, while others are getting help. If he dies, this will be probably the biggest blow to the team yet, especially for Amalia. We hope he’ll live, because he’s a great character. Plus, he’s exactly what Amalia needs to help keep her grounded, as her whole world is upside down. Operación Pacífico spoilers reveal Mariana is still missing, the case is still not going anywhere, and she’s not sure if/when she’ll see her children again. We think him dying on top of it all has the potential to destroy her.
Telemundo Operación Pacífico Spoilers: The good news
Luckily, it looks like we won’t be left hanging indefinitely, like with El Sultán and La Fan. As with most Friday episodes, they closed out the season with a look behind the scenes. At the end, text popped up saying the story is “to be continued very soon.” Our personal theory is they held back part of the season to have some new stuff for later. We just don’t see them having planned out the season to only be 40-some episodes when the other shorter shows have specifically said that upfront. Plus, with productions shut down, we doubt they’d be able to bring us a new season soon unless they’d saved some content for later. Stay tuned for updates as they become available.
