Telemundo ‘Cennet’ spoilers reveal Telemundo debuted a new series last night. This will take the place of their reality competition show, Exatlón, even though the series apparently hasn’t finished the season yet. Text over the station logo promises it will return soon, and stronger. We guess they’re scrambling to fill time while also trying to compete with Univision’s successful use of Turkish programming. Here’s what you need to know about the series, and the first episode.

    Telemundo ‘Cennet’ Spoilers: The show

The version we’re seeing now is a dubbed version of Turkey’s production. It centers around a woman who was given up by her mother as a baby. Her grandmother stepped up and has done a lot for her, helping Cennet Yilmaz (Almila Ada) to work toward her dream of being an architect.

However, Cennet spoilers reveal that she will likely learn the man she’s infatuated with at the moment is a childhood friend, and her mother works at the same company. The story was based around a Korean production called, “Tears of Heaven”, and is listed as being thirty-six episodes long. So it’s a perfect show to check out, as it’s not a big commitment. We also don’t see it getting pushed aside as fast as El Sultán did, as they don’t seem to have much else in the works right now. We’ll have to see if that remains true. So, what about episode one?

    Telemundo ‘Cennet’ Spoilers: The bad

Let’s get this out of the way first. It can be a bit distracted when shows are dubbed. Sometimes it doesn’t match up right and looks silly. We also thought a couple points were a bit inconsistent. According to the backstory and what they talked about in the episode, Cennet was raised by her grandmother, Mukaddes Yilmaz (Güler Ökten). However, a flashback scene made it look like her grandmother dropped her off at an orphanage. However, there’s plenty of pluses to the show.

    Telemundo ‘Cennet’ Spoilers: The good

To end things on a positive note, let’s take a look at the good points. First of all, we loved the antagonistic, yet loving rapport already established between Cennet and Selim Arisoy (Berk Atan), her childhood love. While they don’t know who they are yet, it feels like they’re already instinctively carrying on the way only old friends can.

Secondly, this show is not about drug trafficking, the mob, or police. It’s a romantic drama, so Telemundo is providing some variety. As interesting as those other shows can be, when they’re back-to-back so often, it can also feel like one big series. Third, Cennet spoilers reveal it has all the elements of the old school novelas that focused on love, poor vs. rich, and showing one’s circumstances don’t have to determine one’s future. It’s almost like a reset button to simpler, heartfelt stories. We’ll be curious to see how it all turns out.
