NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) Spoilers reveal there’s still hope and a light at the end of the tunnel for daytime television fans. At least, that’s what the cast and crew of ‘Days of Our Lives’ are probably thinking to themselves as the coronavirus managed to upend their competition. In fact, ‘Days of Our Lives’ head writer Ron Carlivati is probably smiling from ear to ear that his soap is the only one that will probably last with new material until the end of the year. Here’s what you need to know.

Apparently Ron couldn’t help but take a swipe at the news that ‘The Young and the Restless’ and ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ no longer have new episodes in the pipeline, leaving only ‘General Hospital’ and ‘Days of Our Lives’ with new material. As a matter of fact, ‘Days of Our Lives’ is the only daytime television soap to film six months in advance, which means that the series has more than enough material to last until at least October.

Ron retweeted a Vulture article that said long-running daytime soaps are about to run out of original episodes but couldn’t help to add, “Not ‘Days of our Lives’. Enjoy all new episodes for the next several months #Days.”

Of course, it didn’t take long for his followers to respond to his tweet. Quite a few of them left comments such as, “I am so glad we have ‘Days of Our Lives’. Thank goodness they film 6 to 8 months in advance. And the stories are so good!” along with, “It’s a good time to be watching or start watching again.” Another fan wrote, “And with that, ‘Days of Our Live’s will be the light of daytime during this pandemic time. Thank you! I will never stop watching my favorite show.”
