CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers reveal that it looks like Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) is responsible for the death of A.J. Montalvo when he was a child! This means Adam would have had to do some serious memory blocks to get rid of this from his head. Though possible, is this really the truth or is Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) spinning something out of nothing just to get Adam out of the CEO position?
Is Victor really protecting Adam, or is he still just protecting himself? He went to confront Alyssa Montalvo (Maria DiDomenico) at her hotel and threatened her about publishing the article. This seems like he was genuinely looking out for Adam and cared about him getting in trouble. However, Victor may just be covering his own but and lying about Adam being the murderer!

CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Is Victor Telling The Truth Or Playing A Game To Get Adam Out?
I think Victor is still responsible for the murder, whether he did it himself or hired someone. This whole thing about Adam being the murderer is just a way for people to get off his back, keep the story quiet and get Adam out of Newman. He set this whole story up, that’s why it took him so long to tell Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott). Adam wasn’t responsible, but by making him think he was, he can force him out and protect his name.
Adam will probably take the bait, everyone else has because they’re so used to seeing and hearing Adam do terrible things, it was easy to drop his on him. Adam may not of done it, but it doesn’t matter now, Victor has told his story. What do you think? Is Victor telling the truth or playing a game to get Adam out of Newman?
