CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers finds that with tensions rising in Genoa City the past few months, fans are preparing to see the drama coming to a head on our favorite daytime drama. With spoilers released for the week of April 20thto April 24th, it looks like Y&R lovers are in for a treat with celebrations and takedowns.
Spoilers reveal that Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) is throwing Chloe Fisher (Elizabeth Hendrickson) a baby shower this week! Elizabeth Hendrickson and her husband welcomed their real-life baby girl on March 27th. The couple named their new bundle of joy Josephine James.

CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Celebrations And Takedowns – What Are We Going To See This Week?
On the not-so-celebratory-side of things, Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) prepares for her surgery. She is surrounded by her boyfriend Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso), her daughters Faith Newman (Alyvia Alyn Lund) and Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and her ex-husband Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow). Sharon keeps her positive attitude, but it looks like things may get interesting in her love life.
Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Summer Newman (Hunter King) plan their takedown of Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) at Jabot. Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will catch Theo’s cheating when Theo presents Jack’s old pitch from over fifteen years ago. Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) will continue her romance with the hot doctor, Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic), and we might find out more about her troubled past.
There doesn’t seem to be too much information about the situation about Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) versus his son Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Chelsea. However, if Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) is teamed up with Alyssa Montalvo (Maria DiDominico) now, we can assume that some big things are around the corner. Regardless, it looks like things are heating up in Genoa City – which is probably exactly what we need right now. Spring is just around the corner and fans are starting to get stir crazy in their homes under isolation.
