CBS ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ (B&B) spoilers finds that newcomer Monica Ruiz has one request and one request only. The actress, who is best known for her role as Penny Escobar on the hit CBS soap, wants to share scenes with a true daytime television legend: Katherine Kelly Lang! Here’s what she has to say.
So far Dr. Escobar has mostly been sharing scenes with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope), as they try to navigate her situation and figure out what steps need to be taken as more and more people in this fictional town of Los Angeles are learning the truth about Sally’s condition. Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, the beautiful brunette tells the publication, “If I could even do one scene with Katherine Kelly Lang, that would be amazing. I have watched her since I started watching the show, and she’s been pretty involved in every major story. She is the show, she and John McCook [Eric Forrester]. If I had the chance to get to know either of them better, that would be awesome.”

And while there is no indication that Dr. Escobar and Brooke Logan will be crossing paths anytime soon, one can only hope and wish that it happens soon, right? Plus, like Monica said, Brooke is involved in almost every major storyline, which means there’s a chance that she might be involved in the Sally Spectra mystery illness, too.
