British Royal News tease that Prince William and Kate have been on tour all this week as they have been spending time in the Republic of Ireland. It has been reported that their tour was to firm up relations between the two countries prior to the United Kingdom leaving the European Union for good at the end of the year.
The royal couple seemed to be enjoying themselves there, as they have been pictures placing Gaelic football during their last day of the visit in Galway. Pictures have emerged of Kate playing the game, and kicking the ball into the air. They were also in Galway to learn about the cities appointment as the European Capital of Culture for 2020.
British Royal News: Large Crowds Welcome Royals
The couple were welcomed by huge crowds in Galway, with over 300 people in attendance when they arrived on Thursday afternoon. The couple trued hurling, as well as Gaelic football, but it would seem that the Prince’s love would still remain with soccer.
Harry was in the director’s box at Wembley Stadium last weekend as he watched his beloved Aston Villa lose in the Carabao Cup final against Manchester City. There were hundreds of volunteers in attendance for the royal visit in Ireland, with many of them helping out before they made their entrance.
British Royal News: Kate & William Visit Pub
It wasn’t just sport that they were there to experience, as the royal couple also visited the Tig Coili pub. William was forced to apologise to Kate while they were in the pub as the prince talked about soccer with one of the barmen for a prolonged amount of time.
They weren’t the only royal couple back in Great Britain and Ireland this week, as Harry and Meghan were also pictured in London on Thursday evening. This weekend marks their last weekend as working royals, with the Commonwealth service on Monday being their final official engagement.
