CBS ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ (B&B) spoilers has been celebrating the end of the Thomas Forrester (Mathew Atkinson) storyline, but it’s also brought up an interesting question. Why did they stop him?

Seriously, why in the world did Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton), Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), and Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) stop Thomas from marrying Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes)? They were so close to getting rid of Thomas that it really doesn’t make sense. He was this close to being married and becoming Zoe’s problem. Sure, it may not have been ideal, but it was the perfect way for them to be done with him. Of course, it wouldn’t have been as dramatic and the writers may have pitched that idea with a future storyline between Thomas and Zoe but were denied. But no, the Three Blind Idiots had to be heroes.
CBS ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Spoilers: This is why people cheer for the bad guys
Bad guys aren’t just more fun, they’re smarter. The good guys tend to stumble into foiling their plans, like here, despite their incompetence. While Zoe deserved better than Thomas, it would’ve been a matter of time before there was a divorce and Zoe would’ve cleaned Thomas out. Until then, she would’ve lived like a queen. Maybe the Three Blind Idiots should’ve thought about how it could’ve helped Zoe’s life in the long run.

All they had to do was tell her before the wedding and let Zoe make up her own mind, or wait until afterwards and let her take it from there. But now, they not only let Thomas walk away free from everything but his guilt, but they’ve given him a chance to pop up in the future like the typical bad guys with the long moustaches. CBS ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Spoilers imagine he may even try to tie Hope to a railroad track to trap Liam at some point.
CBS ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Spoilers: Douglas will be in play
Speaking of Thomas returning, we can expect him to do so with a vengeance and Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) will most likely be the target. It makes sense given how Liam and Hope have made a point of promising he can stay with them and Liam has even tried to talk good about Thomas to Douglas. It was awkward hearing him do so, but it’s cool to see he’s trying to be the father figure Douglas needs and deserves.
But when Thomas comes back, CBS The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers expect Thomas to sue for full custody since he is Thomas’ biological father. It’s a fight he shouldn’t win, but when looking for vengeance does anyone really think of those ramifications?
