CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers enjoy nothing more than examining the thought process of writers and what could happen in their upcoming stories, but sometimes we can only shake our heads. Case in point, ever notice how a good deed never goes unpunished in Genoa City? Sure, it’s standard practice in soap operas, but Y&R is really going all out to punish those trying to do the right thing. The latest, while debatable how it’ll work out, is most likely to involve the Newman’s favorite whipping boy, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson).
CBS The Young and the Restless Spoilers – February 27 – Nikki Gives Billy A Reality Check
Out of the Newman clan, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) is probably one of the kinder and gentler ones. Sometimes. Unfortunately, with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) in a medically induced coma, this isn’t one of those times.

After telling Billy that he should leave the hospital for Victoria’s sake, there was obviously no love lost between them. He broke her daughter’s heart, he cheated on her daughter —thanks to Victor Newman (Eric Braeden)’s twisting of facts and influence — and now her being stabbed. For her and everyone else in the family, Billy may as well have done it himself and cut out the middle man. So, given the Newman’s stellar security at the hospital (note they also let anyone walk into a black-tie affair at the Gala), Billy was able to slip in and out of Victoria to see her and leave a picture of their children without a problem. Sure, the guard may know him but he also knows he’s not allowed around the family, right?
But ignoring that glaring issue, there’s a chance that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will say something to Nikki about the picture and his suspicion. The thing is, it seems unlikely. He doesn’t want to alarm his parents and seems to be one of the more level-headed Newmans, so he will probably keep it to himself.
This leaves the possibility that Billy either contacts Nikki to ask if there’s anything he can do, or he runs into her at the hospital. The first seems more likely after his time on the roof after his visit. It gave him time to think and clear his head, and he may be willing to conform and do whatever the Newman’s want to return to the fold to help Victoria. And that will probably be the last stroke for Nikki. We can expect her to explain to him that he’s not welcome, now or ever, and that he should get lost. It’s unlikely to any of us at CBS The Young and the Restless Spoilers that she’ll agree to work on Victor. Although, if she does, she’ll be sure to tell Billy don’t count on it.
On top of that, we’ve been teased with an MS flare-up and this could be the stressful point that triggers it, shifting Victor’s bullseye on Billy to a red dot.
CBS The Young and the Restless Spoilers – February 27 – Kevin Helps Devon Crack A Code
This is strictly based on rumors we’ve seen online and think are the most likely scenario for Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) to get back his missing money. It appears that Devon will receive an encoded text from an unknown number. Needing help with it, he’ll ask Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) for advice. This will, in turn, cause Chance to bring in Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) — about the time he gets to do something, right?
Using his myriad of skills developed over a lifetime of cons and other criminal acts, Kevin will break the code and discover it an account number to an offshore bank account. Even better? The account’s expected to be in Devon’s name. The odds that Colin Atkinson (Tristan Rogers) had something to do with this are pretty high when Devon receives a text from him where Colin apologizes.
If true, this is going to set up an interesting storyline for this group going forward, and CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers will be here every step of the way bringing spoilers, speculations, and updates to a computer near you.
