CBS ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ (B&B) spoilers find that it might have been some time since star Karla Mosley was last seen on the canvas, but that doesn’t mean she hasn’t been keeping busy. As a matter of fact, she’s doing one heck of a job balancing her career with motherhood as she is opening up about her new role in an L.A. musical. Here’s what she has to say.
Karla, who is best known for her role as Maya on the hit CBS soap, is showing off her acting chops on the stage in Los Angeles. She’s staring in a new musical called Found and it’s one that she’s very excited about, too.

CBS ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Spoilers: Star Karla Mosley Opens Up About Her New Project – A Musical!
“It’s based on these found notes and letters that people find and send into this magazine,” Mosley explained to Soaps In Depth. “The musical is based on the text of those letters but also follows the journey of the founder of the magazine. There’s a little love story thrown in there as well. I play, in a very soapy way, the third member of the love triangle.”
Karla plays a character by the name of Becka McNeil, and according to the actress, it’s quite different than what she is used to in the soap world.
“The show is very much an ensemble show, so in addition to the ‘core four,’ there’s this amazing ensemble of people from the Groundlings and improv and all kinds of hysterical television shows. So there’s this whole other really funny and heartwarming and often heart-wrenching narrative going and they represent all of the ‘finds.’ They get to do a lot of dancing. Unfortunately, I am sort of the ‘straight’ person and I’m sad about that because I love to dance. But I do get some really wonderful singing moments, so that’s great.”
