ABC ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers tease that while it certainly hasn’t been a good year for Liz Webber (Rebecca Herbst) and Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth), things aren’t going to get any easier, anytime soon. As a matter of fact, the couple will be faced with another hardship in the coming weeks: a financial one. Here’s what you need to know.
Bills, bills, bill! Liz and Franco sure have enough of them. After Franco’s recent hospital stay, he and Liz are finding themselves to be very short on cash. If that weren’t enough, they are also trying to figure out ways to how they can pay for Cameron’s college tuition. All of this pressure if forcing Liz and Franco to not only cut back on their expenses, but also figure out a way they can survive before they start living paycheck to paycheck. And in a town like Port Charles, that’s not easy to do.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Financial Trouble Ahead For Liz And Franco
Speaking to Soaps in Depth in a new interview, ‘General Hospital’ co-head writer Dan O’Connor says that the couple will soon find themselves in a financial bind. Unlike some of the other couples and families in Port Charles, they simply don’t have the means or the resources to make it to the end of the year, let alone to the end of the month. O’Connor told the publication, “They are not the Quartermaines. They are not the Cassadines, or the Corinthos clan. Their circumstances are much different than those of others on our canvas.”
With that said, it will be interesting to see what Liz and Franco will do in order to come up with the extra cash that they so desperately need right now. As many daytime television fans already know, desperate times call for desperate actions.
