‘The Young and the Restless'(Y&R) Spoilers for January 10th, 2020 indicate that Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will have some bad news for Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic). It looks like Hamilton-Winters has taken a financial hit and that’s not a good thing, considering the big personal financial loss that Devon sustained thanks to Colin Atkinson’s (Tristan Rogers) big scam. So now it seems that Devon’s got to put a little of that good old-fashioned elbow grease into raising his company numbers instead of letting his company float by on his own fortune for awhile. He’ll recruit Nate into a special venture in order to get those numbers up, and with any luck Nate will have some clever ideas up his sleeve in order to be able to do just that. Of course, Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) will want to put in a clinic for the New Hope residents and that looks like it will become her very own passion project. Nate will be able to help Elena out with that, shoot, who knows, maybe he’ll be working double-duty and helping both Elena and Devon in 2020.

Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will be up to her old tricks of giving Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) a hard time. No one can be a thorn in someone’s side quite the way that Phyllis can. And of course she’s going to lord what happened in Vegas with Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) right over Abby’s head. This will drive Abby crazy because even though Phyllis doesn’t really know the details of what actually went down, she knows enough to make Abby hot under the collar. Abby will get all flustered and insecure about things. Will this spark a fight between her and Chance later? Guess we’ll have to wait and see.

Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will gather with Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) for her birthday dinner at the cottage along with little Faith Newman (Alyvia Alyn Lind) who seems to be back from her ski trip just in time. Sharon is still remaining tight-lipped about any health concerns she may have, she doesn’t feel that Mariah’s birthday bash is the appropriate place to bring up her fears concerning her potential diagnosis, especially since she doesn’t actually know anything yet. She will do some reflecting on the past with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) as this would have been Cassie’s birthday as well.

Sharon knows how hard it was to say goodbye to her daughter and now she fears that both of her daughters will have to say goodbye to her too and she won’t want that. However, it looks like fate isn’t smiling upon Sharon right now. She won’t tell Nick in so many words what’s wrong, but like Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso), he will sense something is off about her. The only thing Sharon can do in the upcoming days is to whiteknuckle it and follow doctor’s orders. Thankfully, it looks like she will have family and friends to lean on in this dire time.
