She will no longer have her eye on the ball – which is to seduce and get information from Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) – because there will be another potential suitor that will be getting up close and personal with her – Carter. Actor Lawrence Saint-Victor, who plays Carter on the hit CBS soap, puts it this way to Soap Opera Digest in an interview, “Carter has much respect and admiration for Zoe to come back from what she went through, to take responsibility for her actions and walk through Forrester’s doors, ready to commit to a clean slate and show these people who she really is. Carter loves second changes and people who fight for their own self-worth. That’s a trait he deeply admires. Carter sees that Zoe wants to do everything in her power to be accepted and be forgiven. And, due to that desire, it can be easy to overlook things that are obvious to Carter about Thomas.”
