The final is only two days away, but two celebrities left the jungle before the semi-final stage in a shocking double eviction on Friday evening. There was also a fun Dingo Dollar challenge, which involved celebrities using their geography and an enticing bush tucker trial where campmates could win an alcoholic drink.
I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here: Caitlyn and Nadine Leave Jungle
The closing stages of the show saw Ant and Dec take to the jungle to tell campmates the name of the celebrity that would be leaving the jungle. However, this wasn’t any normal day, and instead of one star leaving; there was two. Ant and Dec revealed that the two campmates with the lowest numbers of votes were Caitlyn Jenner and Nadine Coyle. The hosts then broke the news that it would be both of them departing the jungle.
Caitlyn was the first to leave the jungle, which indicated that she was the one to finish in sixth place. Jenner was hugely emotional during the interview, where she admitted that she had reservations on the first day whether she would be able to continue. It wasn’t the first time that she has taken part in the show, after competing as Bruce 14 years ago. This time the 70-year-old defied expectations by doing a host of trails and inspiring her campmates.
Nadine followed her out of the jungle shortly afterwards to speak to the hosts. The former Girls Aloud singer defied expectations as she was initially among the bookmaker’s favourites to be the first eliminated. She impressed during the trails and notably got nine stars in a gruelling trial that involved getting very close to snakes, spiders and green ants.
I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here: Andy and Roman Excel In Trial
Andy Whyment and Roman Kemp were faced with getting the food for camp in the bush tucker trial on Friday. The pair were stapped to separated revolving wheels while Ant and Dec would read out questions. They would have to find the right answer from the cards in the bucket in front of them while spinning around and going up and down.
They managed to get the all-important final star, which ensured that campmates would be able to get an alcoholic drink after their dinner. To which the Coronation Street shocked the UK audience by revealing he wanted a Bacardi and diet coke.
Jacqueline Jossa and Nadine took on the Dingo Dollar challenge. Here, they needed to find the correct locations on a world map for certain countries. Nadine struggled on her turn, as she couldn’t find where Australia was on the map. Jacqueline excelled and managed to put them on their way to the dollars, which they used to buy chocolate cupcakes.
