Decisiones: Unos ganan, otros pierden spoilers reveal there’s a high price to every choice. This anthology series premiered last night, and will likely air until the January 13th premiere of La Doña 2. The title means, “Decisions: Some win, others lose” and the first episode was a perfect example of that. Here’s what you need to know.

Decisiones: Unos ganan, otros pierden spoilers – Choices

With each episode tackling an issue that people face today, the first episode focused on immigration. More specifically on illegal immigration and the people caught up in the issue. A militia group patrols its area, which is close to a border. They catch a group trying to come in without permission, and the situation escalates until one of the group is dead.

The story centers around a guy, William (Christopher Millán), who is involved with this group. He ends up helping a woman who escaped the situation, Rocío (Litzy). She’s seven months pregnant and begs him to keep her secret. What’s more, she wants his help to track down a relative whose phone isn’t connected any more. These decisions will cost…

Decisiones: Unos ganan, otros pierden spoilers – Consequences

Every choice leads to a consequence. In William’s case, he’s re-evaluating a lot. Decisiones: Unos ganan, otros pierden spoilers indicate he got a soft spot for his unwanted guest. He decides to help her, but his decision leads to a huge issue. First off, the authorities are on the case of the dead man, which puts him in the authorities’ sights. They know he’s involved with that group, so they figure he must know something. He’s begged to talk, because of the potential danger out there, but he refuses. His choice (and the decision to quit the militia) leads to a dramatic standoff.

In another case of choices having consequences, Rocío is exposed by a girl William got involved with, Grace (Kendra Santacruz). One of his group tried to rape her, and she threw out the information as a distraction tactic. It worked. Unfortunately, it led to Rocío being held at gunpoint and Grace’s would-be rapist’s death. In a telenovela-worthy twist, the incident caused Rocío to go into labor, as well as being injured. He had no choice but to expose everything.

Decisiones: Unos ganan, otros pierden spoilers — The winners

While it’s obvious who lost, there were winners as well. Decisiones: Unos ganan, otros pierden spoilers reveal Rocio not only had a healthy baby, but she got a lawyer that allowed her to stay in the States. William also came out a winner. His help led her to name the new baby after him. Overall, the subject matter was a bit much, as the issue has been talked constantly. However, the writers managed to pull out an interesting story that shows how complex this issue really can be.
