For the longest time it’s been a push-and-pull war between Kyle and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) for the top spot at Jabot. Kyle feels as though Billy doesn’t take him seriously and that he doesn’t listen to his ideas. Billy, meanwhile, is feeling defeated. He believes that this life is not for him and that he simply doesn’t care for the family business or the Abbott legacy anymore. He’s ready to step down and let someone else deal with the stress of being CEO of a major multi-million dollar company.

‘Young and the Restless’ spoilers tease that unfortunately for Kyle, he won’t be that CEO. Even though he’s been practically begging for the recognition, Peter Bergman (Jack Abbott) doesn’t think he’s ready for it. But then again, a blind man could see that Kyle simply doesn’t have the maturity or the experience one needs in order to run a company as huge as Jabot.
As many ‘Young and the Restless’ fans know, Theo Vanderway has managed to weasel his way into the Abbott family. And now it looks like he might be stepping over Kyle as the new “prodigal son” of the Abbott family. Needless to say, Kyle will be livid. He’s the only person who can see what kind of snake Theo is and now he’s doing everything he can to destroy Kyle’s life, both personally and professionally. It wouldn’t be surprising to see Kyle retaliate as there’s only so much that he can take, right? Viewers might want to fasten their seatbelts because the drama is about to get pretty fast and furious as Kyle will be the next Abbott to take a walk on the wild side!
